I enjoy this creamy shake almost every day, and I like knowing that it’s not only delicious but healthy, too! It gets its sweetness naturally, from the ripe bananas, plus it’s non-dairy and loaded with healthy fats. This is a dessert you can truly feel good about!Â
If you use coconut milk it will have a more pronounced coconut flavor of course. With any other non-dairy milk you’ll taste a little more banana. Optional: You can add a tiny splash of vanilla to round out the flavors. Â
For a breakfast version, simply add some quick oats and a little extra milk and you’ve got yourself a quick, healthy and filling breakfast!Â

Creamy Coconut Banana Milkshake
This has become my go-to for a healthy, not-too-sweet dessert and it also works nicely as a quick breakfast with the addition of oats. It's loaded with healthy fats, super thick, creamy and delicious!

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup coconut or other unsweetened non-dairy milk
- 1 sliced, frozen, very ripe banana
- 2 tbsp hemp seeds
- 2 tbsp unsweetened flaked coconut
- 1 tbsp almond butter, natural (can sub peanut butter)
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a blender. If using a regular blender, let the banana thaw for about 5 minutes to make it easier to blend. Blend at high speed for about a minute or until smooth and creamy. Enjoy!
