Creamy Coconut Banana Milkshake

This has become my go-to for a healthy, not-too-sweet dessert and it also works nicely as a quick breakfast with the addition of oats. It's loaded with healthy fats, super thick, creamy and delicious!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup coconut or other unsweetened non-dairy milk
  • 1 sliced, frozen, very ripe banana
  • 2 tbsp hemp seeds
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened flaked coconut
  • 1 tbsp almond butter, natural (can sub peanut butter)
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a blender. If using a regular blender, let the banana thaw for about 5 minutes to make it easier to blend. Blend at high speed for about a minute or until smooth and creamy. Enjoy!

Notes

Breakfast Smoothie:  Add 1/4 cup quick oats and an additional 1/4 cup milk for a quick, healthy and filling breakfast!
